This cable is designed for a device which has a USB 3.0 Micro 10-Pin female socket to supply power and data transfers. If your device has the USB 2.0 Mini-B 5-Pin female socket (as found on some older HDDs), you may need this USB 2.0 Mini-B 5-Pin to 2x Type-A Y-Cable instead.
