Important Note About Wireless HDMi Transmission

Straight up, we need to make clear that ANY wireless HDMI signal transmission we have seen will be inferior to a conventional cabled connection. To send a signal wirelessly the HDMI signal is compressed, and there is noticeable lag present as the signal is processed. So depending on the final set up environment (distances, obstructions etc), you may notice varying degrees of image compression, occasional jutter and some lag from the source display. For this reason, we do not recommend any wireless HDMI sender/receiver product for gaming, or applications which require low-lag displays.

This digital 5GHz Wireless HDMI Sender & Receiver provides wireless digital transmission of HDMI audio & video signals, up to 1080p/60Hz, over longer distances than we’ve seen from similar products in the past. While never a replacement for a cabled connection from an image quality stand-point, wireless HDMI technologies have come a long way in the past 5 or so years.

Operating distances through walls and solid objects is possible, with an expected range of 5-10m, depending on the number of obstacles and materials involved. And for larger rooms where a line-of-sight connection is possible, you’ll be able to enjoy long transmission distances of 20m or 30m+. Just keep in mind that some other 5GHz wireless devices can play a role in your set up (including 2.4GHz cordless telephones, and in some cases Wi-Fi networks).

Finally, Fast & Easy Wireless Set-up

Setup is a cinch, as you simply need to connect the Sender unit to your source HDMI device, and connect the Wireless Receiver unit to your display (via HDMI or VGA). Finally, there’s included USB cables for supplying power to both the sender and receiver unit.  The USB socket on a TV or other electronic device should be fine provided it can provide at least 2A or alternatively can be used with any mobile phone charger.   From there, just a press of a button on the Sender unit is all that’s needed for a direct connection.
