Rechargeable Wireless 2.4Ghz Backlit Keyboard & Mouse Combo

We often think of laptops as coffee-shop companions which can compose an email or browse sales while enjoying a muffin with our morning mocca, but there’s also the times when you’re posting to social media after the sun’s gone down, or taking notes in a darkened meeting room during a sales pitch when your regular keybord might not work so well.

It’s at times like those that a trusty backlit keyboard will come in handy, providing just enough illumination to separate your square bracket from your backslash easily. Whether you’re backstage running sound gear at the theatre or at a tech support callout to your parent’s place late at night, this might be your new best friend with three levels of brightness to choose from (plus off).

The housing is plastic but sturdy and with a nice semigloss finish. The keys are chicklet-style with short travel and good response. And the backlight layer only adds a little extra thickness to the very portable profile. The mouse is similarly appointed, with no protrusions and a little hole for the USB dongle to live in. It also has good dimensions, making it very useable and nothing like the novelty travel-size mice you’ve seen elswehere.

Both are USB-C charged and a cable is included. You can type up a storm for a couple of days straight (the manufacturer say 25 hours) with the blacklight on full-blast, and run on standby for a year.
