Simple to use, as these things should be, all you need to do is twist clockwise to the desired time and hit the button to start the countdown. Gone too far on the timer? Simply turn it anti-clockwise to get back to where you want to be. Turn the dial quickly to scrub faster if you want. You can use it as a stopwatch as well by holding the button until the display shows 00:00 and then hitting the button again to start.
